شناسایی فرصت‌ها و ظرفیت‌های اقتصادی، تجاری و سیاسی راهبردی در هند و همچنین احصاء موانع توسعه روابط اقتصادی و تجاری ایران با این کشور، یک رویکرد کلیدی برای شناخت محدودیت‌ها و توسعه ظرفیت‌های اقتصادی و تجاری ایران و هند است. در این راستا، گزارش حاضر ابتدا به بررسی متغیرهای کلان اقتصادی هند، جمعیت، فرهنگ و ساختار سیاسی و حکومتی این کشور می‌پردازد و سپس روند تجارت هند با جهان، شرکای عمده تجاری، گروه‌های کالایی صادراتی و وارداتی و وضعیت روابط دوجانبه ایران و هند و پتانسیل‌های صادراتی ایران مورد تحلیل قرار می‌گیرد. در ادامه، ظرفیت‌ها و فرصت‌های همکاری اقتصادی و تجاری میان دو کشور شناسایی می‌شود تا زمینه توسعه مشارکت‌ها و سرمایه‌گذاری مشترک فراهم آید. همچنین، موانع و چالش‌های داخلی و خارجی، از جمله محدودیت‌های نهادی، مسائل ژئوپلیتیکی و تحریم‌ها که بر توسعه روابط اقتصادی ایران و هند تأثیرگذار هستند، مورد بررسی قرار می‌گیرد. در نهایت، گزارش با ارائه توصیه‌های راهبردی و سیاستی، راهکارهایی را برای تداوم و تعمیق روابط اقتصادی با هند و مدیریت مؤثر تعاملات بین‌المللی ارائه می‌کند.

Identifying strategic economic, commercial, and political opportunities and capacities in India, as well as outlining the obstacles to developing Iran’s economic and trade relations with this country, constitutes a key approach for understanding limitations and enhancing economic and trade capacities between Iran and India. In this regard, the present report first examines India’s macroeconomic variables, population, culture, and political and governmental structure. It then analyzes India’s trade trends with the world, major trading partners, export and import commodity groups, as well as the status of Iran–India bilateral relations and Iran’s export potential.
Subsequently, the report identifies the capacities and opportunities for economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries to create a foundation for the development of partnerships and joint investments. Additionally, internal and external obstacles and challenges—such as institutional constraints, geopolitical issues, and sanctions—that affect the development of Iran–India economic relations are examined. Finally, the report provides strategic and policy recommendations, offering solutions to sustain and deepen economic relations with India and to effectively manage international interactions.
